The benefits of latin dancing for this age group are extraordinary - children gain self-confidence and self-esteem, discipline and the ability to cooperate with others. They also have fun ... a lot of fun! We will introduce them to a wide repertoire of latin dance music - including salsa, mambo, jive, rumba, argentine tango and cha cha cha! They will learn about different cultures as we will incorporate stories that explain the background of the music and the dances they are learning. We offer Latin Dance for 6 to 8 year olds taught by Alejandra Barrera-Sapirstein and Ballroom & Latin Dance for 8 to 11 year olds taught by Oscar Burgos |
